Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental exams and cleanings.
- Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride.
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Work with the dentists to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure instrument sterilization and compliance with disinfection protocols.
- Opportunity to get involved in different departments, including orthodontics.
Qualifications
- Diploma in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice as a dental hygienist in Quebec.
- Previous dental hygiene experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of dental management software is a plus.
